Work model:
- On-Site
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Monday – Friday
What you will do:
- Support the organization of all data for legal litigation proceedings
- Format pleadings, briefs, and other legal paperwork
- Manage all e-filing, discovery, and drafting of briefs, motions, and pleadings
- Edit documents, subpoenas, deadlines for hearings, and medical case chronologies
- Render dictations
- Create draft documentation to ensure all proper steps are taken and deadlines are met
- Communicate with clients
- Manage attorney calendars
- Perform administrative duties as needed
What you will need to be successful:
- 3+ years of legal assistant experience working in a law firm
- Previous litigation and transcription experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Developed computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- High level of motivation with practical and technical experience
