Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join its team. The ideal candidate will sustain and improve the preventative maintenance program for all HVAC equipment, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical HVAC systems, and ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely. This role involves installing, restoring, and upgrading HVAC systems, diagnosing system control issues, and collaborating with other departments to maintain a cohesive and efficient work environment.

What you will do:
- Sustain and improve the Preventative Maintenance Program for all HVAC equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical HVAC equipment
- Install, restore, maintain, and upgrade HVAC systems and components
- Perform routine maintenance and operations techniques to minimize equipment downtime
- Install and troubleshoot PLCs and drives
- Diagnose system control issues to identify root causes of failures
- Install HVAC wiring, motors, electrical panels, breakers, airlines, water lines, or gas lines as needed
- Coordinate parts ordering and ensure critical parts are in stock
- Ensure equipment is in safe and optimal working condition
- Collaborate with other departments to foster a “one team” environment
What you will need to be successful:
- HVAC Apprentice License or equivalent industry work experience
- 2+ years of experience in industrial, commercial, or military systems maintenance preferred
- Strong ability to diagnose problems from system control to application point on the machine
- Experience operating, repairing, and troubleshooting large-scale electrical and mechanical HVAC systems
- High mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and diagnostic aptitude
- Familiarity with fabrication, programming, and material handling equipment
