Work model:
- On-Site
- 1st shift – Monday -Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd shift – Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
- Weekend Day – 4:00 AM – 4:00 PM
What you will do:
- Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits used for machine and equipment control
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
- Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints
- Demonstrate knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems
- Perform basic mechanical repairs
- Perform work associated with lower classification levels
- Direct the work of others in lower classifications as needed
- Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts, such as brushes and armatures
- Install and monitor the performance of electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement
- Interpret blueprints and work from sketches or verbal instructions
- Lay out, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services, including panels, breakers, and conduit
- Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications
- Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments
- Perform a variety of tasks as directed by the Group Leader
What you will need to be successful:
- Two-year associate degree
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience
- Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS
