What you will do:
- Develop complex layouts and manage engineering contracted and presale projects
- Coordinate and oversee equipment requirements for large-scale projects
- Guide and mentor junior engineers on project tasks, ensuring all project requirements are met
- Evaluate and optimize engineering designs to enhance efficiency and safety
- Work closely with production staff to ensure seamless implementation of designs on the manufacturing floor
- Engage in hands-on tasks, such as assembling and testing prototypes, using tools like wrenches and other equipment to validate engineering concepts
What you will need to be successful:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Industrial Project Engineer, or Design Engineer
- Ability to independently manage tasks
- Proven track record of contributing to significant improvements in a manufacturing facility
- High proficiency in SolidWorks
- Familiarity with continuous improvement practices and 5S methodology
