What you will do:
- Collaborate with supervisors to determine required materials, track overdue materials, and review production orders
- Request materials and schedule deliveries based on job priority and availability
- Support purchase and production order processing for subcontracted tasks
- Leverage SAP and ProClarity reports to maintain accurate and reliable inventory
- Implement FIFO inventory management and assist operations managers in resolving shelf-life issues
- Perform inventory cycle counts along with operations and accounting teams to verify or adjust inventory data
- Ensure production schedules and material specifications are met
- Communicate with necessary teams to navigate material shortages or exceptions
- Assist with the implementation of 5S program initiatives and quality policies
What you will need to be successful:
- Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school
- 3-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Material inventory/control and SAP experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and multi-task
- Skilled in reading blueprints and assembly prints
- Proficient in interpreting bill of materials, drawings, and certification documentation
- Working knowledge of manufacturing workflow
- Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills
- Microsoft Office365, Word, and Excel skills
