What you will do:
- Handle residential/real estate mortgage underwriting
- Give final approval on residential mortgage loans and be able to support underwriting decisions
- Ensure bank policy and guidelines are met
- Review loan files for completion and identify any adherences
- Oversee mortgage operations department, responsible for both underwriting and managing workflow for the department
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- Previous mortgage underwriting experience required
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
