We are looking for a qualified financial professional to consider our client’s open NFP Audit Manager position. In this role, you will oversee assurance services, and manage tax provisions and tax compliance processes. Responsibilities:
- Deliver a full range of assurance services in compliance with laws and regulations within a timeframe
- Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertise
- Oversee assurance services
- Identify and mitigate audit risks
- Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance
- Manage tax provision and tax compliance process
- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an audit manager
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
- Knowledge of CCH ProSystem’s Engagement software and Microsoft Office
- Proficient at meeting deadlines and problem-solving
- Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills
- Analytical skills with detail orientation
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Hold an active CPA license
- 5 years of experience in public accounting assurance work
