Palmer Group is recruiting a bilingual Payroll & Billing Specialist to join our growing client’s accounting team. This position focuses on the weekly distribution of payroll checks and the processing of customer invoices. What you will do:
- Review approved employment forms for accuracy regarding payment of wages
- Develop and enter payroll data while reviewing any discrepancies
- Prepare and complete payroll checks
- Maintain files for employees, payroll records, and billing records
- Monitor unscheduled payroll transactions, including voiding unused checks, issuing stop payment orders, and issuing replacement checks
- Conduct various payroll adjustments
- Analyze payroll, production records, and customer-related billing reports
- Process billings
- Create and submit invoices
- Assist customers with billing questions, customer website entry, and various other issues
What you need to be successful:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Advanced communication skills
