We are partnering with a multi-location manufacturing facility with a footprint primarily located in the Midwest. With increased market share, we are looking for a dynamic Plant Manager to focus on lean manufacturing and production scheduling. Responsibilities:
- Oversee 75+ employees at one site and regularly collaborate/communicate with HQ
- Increase production to maximize efficiency standards while implementing lean initiatives and other capital improvement projects
- Determine needs for equipment upgrades, building additions, maintenance, and other strategic location decisions
- Lead and develop a team of supervisors and employees, identifying growth opportunities and developing a strategic vision/succession plan
- Analyze the existing state of the plant and make incremental changes, focusing on transparent communication and upholding company values
- Oversee operational activities of the plant
- Build effective professional working relationships with all stakeholders, including suppliers and customers
Requirements:
- 4-year degree required
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with leadership responsibilities
- Experience implementing capital improvement projects
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent communication skills with a penchant for collaborating and transparent communication
