Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift, to oversee their 2nd shift operations. The ideal candidate will manage a team of approximately 30 hourly employees, ensure production targets are met, maintain quality standards, and foster a safe and positive work environment.
Work model:
- On-Site
- Monday – Thursday
- 4:15 PM – 3:45 AM
What you will do:
- Communicate clearly to ensure employees understand their tasks and responsibilities
- Monitor performance and keep track of production metrics
- Address any issues promptly. Regular feedback can help employees improve and stay motivated
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Foster a positive work culture by encouraging teamwork and recognizing employees’ efforts and achievements
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all products meet the required specifications. Train employees on quality standards and the importance of adhering to them
- Assist in the training and development of employees
What you will need to be successful:
- A minimum of 3 years leading a team in a manufacturing environment.
- Understand supplier quality and customer expectations and how those impact production and decision-making
- Desire to learn and lead
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and safety
