What you will do:
- Establish quality standards by studying manufacturing and engineering requirements
- Review and approve work instructions and procurement requisitions
- Establish finished product inspection standards
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Perform quality audits of technical requirements
- Prepare quality reports with appropriate information and trends
- Initiate continuous improvement projects through cost-reduction measures
- Identify safety and health concerns by surveying occupational conditions
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or manufacturing or equivalent work experience
- Experience is quality and/or continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment
- Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
- Certified Quality Engineer preferred but not required
- Ability to handle multiple projects at a time
