What you will do:
- Investigate and resolve internal and external non-conformance issues using root cause analysis and corrective action tools
- Prepare quality reports, procedures, and corrective action responses aligned with AS9100 and customer requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing on process improvements and defect resolution
- Conduct audits (internal, supplier, and NADCAP) and prepare required documentation for customer surveys
- Review and update inspection instructions and procedures
- Facilitate MRB processes, calibration recordkeeping, and quality system training
- Support quality operations across inspection, NDT, lab testing, and heat treatment functions
- Perform data analysis, including SPC, to support process improvements
- Drive quality initiatives on the production floor (~70% of time)
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in Quality (minimum 3 years)
- Proficiency in quality methodologies (RCCA, SPC, PPAP, Fishbone, ISO standards)
- Prior experience in aerospace, NADCAP, or foundry environments is strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be assertive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, hands-on manufacturing environment
- DQR certification or familiarity with military/aerospace compliance is a plus
