Quality Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to join our team and help drive process improvement and compliance across the organization. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, investigating non-conformances, and supporting audits and customer requirements. What you will do:

  • Investigate and resolve internal and external non-conformance issues using root cause analysis and corrective action tools
  • Prepare quality reports, procedures, and corrective action responses aligned with AS9100 and customer requirements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing on process improvements and defect resolution
  • Conduct audits (internal, supplier, and NADCAP) and prepare required documentation for customer surveys
  • Review and update inspection instructions and procedures
  • Facilitate MRB processes, calibration recordkeeping, and quality system training
  • Support quality operations across inspection, NDT, lab testing, and heat treatment functions
  • Perform data analysis, including SPC, to support process improvements
  • Drive quality initiatives on the production floor (~70% of time)

What you will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in Quality (minimum 3 years)
  • Proficiency in quality methodologies (RCCA, SPC, PPAP, Fishbone, ISO standards)
  • Prior experience in aerospace, NADCAP, or foundry environments is strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be assertive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, hands-on manufacturing environment
  • DQR certification or familiarity with military/aerospace compliance is a plus
