We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Apparel Manager to oversee our client’s apparel department and spearhead our marketing, advertising, and event initiatives. Work model:
- On-Site
- 45-50 hours/week
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
What you will do:
- Lead and inspire an excellent customer service culture by recognizing and rewarding positive performance
- Recruit, hire, develop, and retain top sales talent
- Direct and execute strategic merchandising and visual displays to maximize sales and presentation standards
- Maintain an approved level of inventory through purchasing, stock rotation, and markdowns
- Oversee the development and implementation of marketing, advertising, and public relations activities, including social media and digital marketing
- Help plan, organize, and participate in events for the organization, such as fashion shows, open houses, rides, charity events, and off-site activities
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of apparel merchandising/retail clothing experience, maintaining and building a clothing brand
- Must have experience in ordering, tracking inventory, building displays, and utilizing all retail space to increase revenue
- 2 years of management experience, including hiring, training, coaching, and developing a sales team
