What you will do:
- Provide management and supervision to a team of service technicians to guarantee efficient and quality work
- Design and execute sales strategies in order to increase electrical services revenue
- Nurture relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities
- Compose and organize proposals, cost estimates, and quotes for prospective clients
- Recognize further services required and upsell appropriate products and services to offer continuous assistance to clients
- Coach the sales and service teams to achieve a high level of performance by providing mentorship and promoting professional development
- Confirm department objectives are met by establishing and monitoring team goals and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Partner with other departments (e.g., field service teams, administration) to improve customer experiences and operations
- Oversee the service department’s resources and budgets to optimize the efficient use of time and materials
- Create reports measuring key metrics, including sales results and service performance
- Manage contracts, invoicing, and billing inquiries
What you will need to be successful:
- Experience in a Sales Manager position, preferably in the electrical industry
- Proven leadership skills and the capacity to support and encourage a team
- Understanding of electrical services, products, and industry standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Extensive experience in sales with confidence in fostering relationships and driving revenue
- High-level time-management and organization skills
- Experience with CRM systems and service management software
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
