Salesforce QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a talented Salesforce QA Automation Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve issues before product releases, ensuring a seamless user experience.

What you will do:

  • Design and develop automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG
  • Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand application functionality and design test strategies
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure software quality
  • Review system requirements and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Monitor debugging process results and track quality assurance metrics

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a QA automation engineer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Experience with Salesforce platform and tools like Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components
  • Familiarity with data management tools like SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce Data Loader
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security models and business processes
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Jenkins
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Experience with version control systems like Git
  • Solid understanding of REST and SOAP APIs for integration testing
