What you will do:
- Coach and train crop specialists on seed-selling techniques and product information
- Assist and provide technical leadership to salespeople in developing programs that foster a sense of product understanding
- Participate in sales calls and targeted grower meetings
- Understand the costs, pricing, and value of seed to achieve the desired level of profitability
- Develop, implement, and guide seed marketing activities
- Promote the organization’s brand message and help coordinate field programs
- Forecast product needs for ordering and product placement
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 7-10 years of sales experience in crop, seed, fertilizer, and related products
- Minimum of 3 years of sales leadership experience
- Must have Certified Crop Advisor accreditation or acquire it within an established period
