What you will do:
- Analyze financial statements, credit data, and industry information to assess the risk and profitability of commercial loans
- Prepare financial spreads, ratios, and written credit analyses for new requests, renewals, and modifications
- Provide loan structure recommendations to Commercial Loan Officers
- Communicate with customers, attorneys, and accountants to obtain required financial and organizational documentation while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Assist with loan documentation, collateral perfection, and ongoing credit monitoring
- Stay informed on economic and market conditions impacting credit risk
- Conduct customer site visits and resolve credit or account-related issues
- Prepare and review internal reports and assist with research as needed
- Refer customers to other banking services when appropriate
- Train and mentor Credit Analyst I and II team members; assign responsibilities aligned with skill levels
- Participate in hiring, performance reviews, promotions, and disciplinary actions within the credit department
- Recommend and implement process improvements, including software and training enhancements
- Promote high-quality customer service through guidance and coaching
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of related credit or financial analysis experience
