What you will do:
- Assist with the quarterly financial statement close process
- Prepare and review account reconciliations and key financial statement analysis reports
- Participate in process improvement initiatives related to the financial close
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and financial reviews
- Engage in actuarial and other cross-functional discussions as needed
- Perform additional accounting, reporting, and record-keeping tasks as required
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in financial reporting and accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- CPA designation preferred
