What you will do:
- Conduct monthly and quarterly accounting and reporting for fixed income and equity securities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and statutory disclosures
- Partner with third-party accounting service providers to ensure timely and accurate investment accounting and reporting
- Calculate quarterly Interest Maintenance Reserve (IMR) and Asset Valuation Reserve (AVR)
- Enter Risk-Based Capital (RBC) investment data into RBC templates quarterly and into WINGS for annual reporting
- Upload and create investment-related schedules in WINGS for quarterly and annual Blue Book reporting; collaborate with Financial Reporting to resolve cross-check errors
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field from an accredited four-year institution
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in investment accounting or a related field
