Palmer Group has partnered with a growing bank in its search for a Senior Lender/Chief Credit Officer. In this position, you will oversee credit risk management for the entire institution and collaborate closely with the CEO and President. Your responsibilities will include preparing loan policy recommendations and developing processes while maintaining compliance with bank regulations. What you will do:
- Direct credit underwriting, loan officers, and loan operations personnel
- Manage the credit administration activities of the bank
- Collaborate with lenders to evaluate credits and prepare loan proposals
- Accompany lenders to meet with customers and potential clients
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years of related experience, including 5 years of experience in commercial lending
- Demonstrated work experience in a financial leadership position
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and ability to supervise a team
