ServiceNow Administrator

As an experienced ServiceNow Administrator at our client, you will be responsible for administering, configuring, and maintaining the ServiceNow (SNOW) platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and departments to ensure the SNOW platform meets business needs and operates efficiently. What you will do:

  • Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including user management, data management, and system configurations
  • Implement and manage ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Problem
  • Management, Change Management, and Service Catalog
  • Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, UI policies, and scripts to automate and improve processes
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance of the platform
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Provide training, support, examples, and guidance to end users and less experienced team members to maximize the platform’s potential
  • Stay current with ServiceNow industry trends, updates, new features, certifications, and best practices
  • Assist in the development and implementation of ServiceNow governance and compliance policies
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in ServiceNow implementations
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions and applications within the ServiceNow platform to automate and optimize processes
  • Manage, understand, and maintain the ServiceNow instance, including system configuration, user access, and security
  • Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular upgrades

What you will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years’ experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or in a similar role
  • Experience with ServiceNow development, including scripting, workflows, and integrations
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification preferred
  • Experience with ITIL processes and frameworks
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and modules
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing customer expectations
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other enterprises are employing them to drive digital business
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools preferred
  • Knowledge of additional ServiceNow modules such as HR Service Delivery, IT Asset
  • Management or IT Operations Management preferred
