We are assisting our client with their search for a Senior Financial Analyst located in New Jersey. This is a key role within a growing organization, which will be hands-on with both plant operations and corporate finance activities. What you will do:
- Assist in the Monthly Financial Close process
- Produce financial statement analysis to support management
- Leverage information systems and establish efficient processes
- Manage cash flows and bank reconciliations
- Implement best practices and productivity initiatives across the organization, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Manage sales reporting
- Perform business unit financial reporting and analysis
- Work directly with the General Manager on process improvement
- Work on projects that integrate divisional reporting
- Communicate with accounts payable, billing, and inventory control to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the financial statements
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Prior experience within the manufacturing industry is highly preferred
- CPA (can be non-active) is preferred
