Our client is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join their growing Supply Chain team. This strategic role will oversee sourcing, supplier relationships, and inventory performance across a diverse portfolio. The ideal candidate is both analytical and relationship-driven — someone who understands supply chain dynamics, thrives in a collaborative environment, and enjoys digging into data to drive smarter decisions and cost efficiencies.

What you will do:
- Serve as the business owner for a high-volume materials category, overseeing hundreds of products across a broad supplier base
- Proactively source materials, evaluate supplier capabilities, and identify opportunities for cost savings, improved lead times, and quality performance
- Maintain key supply chain metrics such as inventory turns, reorder points, and cost levels to support operational and financial goals
- Assess supplier fit and strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Analyze data to uncover trends, forecast needs, and support strategic sourcing decisions
- Collaborate with the broader supply chain team to improve processes and ensure compliance with regulated or quality-driven environments
What you will need to be successful:
- 3+ years of relevant sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain experience
- Strong analytical and data-mining skills with advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience working within complex or regulated manufacturing environments preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems and the ability to build and interpret reports
- High sense of urgency with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Intellectual curiosity — eager to understand supply chains, supplier structures, and market dynamics
- Team-oriented mindset with a drive to learn, collaborate, and continuously improve
