What you will do:
- Assess structural loads and evaluate stress distribution
- Verify the feasibility and safety of proposed structural designs
- Collaborate with detailers to refine and finalize design elements
- Review and validate design specifications, measurements, and tolerances to ensure compliance with engineering standards
- Generate precise bills of materials (BOMs) with attention to detail
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering with a structural emphasis
- Proven experience with structural steel
- Skills with AutoCAD, RISA, and Mathcad are highly desired
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
