What you will do:
- Lead the structural design for industrial, commercial, and educational facilities
- Oversee the development of construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and serve as client/contractor liaison
- Mentor junior engineers and designers, providing technical guidance
- Conduct site visits, gather field data, and review shop drawings
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited institution
- PE licensure in Iowa or immediate eligibility to obtain
- 5–10 years of structural design experience
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to mentor and lead
