This individual will oversee the entire flow of goods, from procurement to delivery, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing inventory, logistics, and transportation, as well as fostering strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other departments. What you will do:
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and workflows that promote ethical, compliant, and efficient planning and purchasing operations
- Build and maintain a strong network of supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply within an approved vendor base
- Lead negotiations and vendor agreements to secure optimal pricing and maximize value for the organization
- Oversee all aged and obsolete inventory activities in coordination with customers, providing monthly reports detailing inventory levels and associated financial impacts
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience
