Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Title Examiner to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and evaluating title documents to ensure clear property ownership and identify any potential issues affecting real estate transactions. This role requires prior title experience, a strong understanding of title laws and regulations, and excellent communication skills. Work model:

  • On-Site
  • Monday – Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

What you will do:

  • Complete search and exams for title products
  • Submit requests to vendors
  • Review searches from outside searches.
  • Proof Products before submitting to clients
  • Maintain title plant records as directed.
  • Assist with other tasks/projects as needed
  • Answer customer questions as appropriate
  • Ensure the assimilation of all necessary components of a project to prevent any missing parts

What you will need to be successful:

  • Prior title experience or abstracting experience is required
  • Minimum HS Diploma or GED
  • A combination of education/experience and technical skills is needed to meet the essential functions and required competencies of the position
  • Proven experience in title examination, preferably in commercial real estate.
  • Strong understanding of title laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong teamwork skills: cooperatively interact with co-workers to promote an effective, productive work unit
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to maximize productive results
  • Must be able to organize an assignment or project and follow it through to completion within the time allotted
  • Excellent customer service skills: provide courteous, personal attention to promote individual customer satisfaction and the public perception and reputation of the organization
