Transactions Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Work model:

  • On-Site
  • Monday – Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, out early on Fridays

What you will do:

  • Review client’s files, submit documents to an e-file system and save documents in internal files
  • Schedule upcoming appointments and meetings with clients on behalf of the attorney
  • Contact clients and gather documents and follow-up items as needed
  • Explain the next steps to clients and open incoming mail
  • Support 3 attorneys with their caseloads and partner with two other support staff employees to fulfill the needs of the attorneys’ clients
  • Answer incoming calls, assist and determine the needs of the caller

What you need to be successful:

  • Paralegal certificate or 1+ years of work experience in a legal support role
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to use multiple screens and applications at the same time
  • Must type 45 WPM
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work well with internal and external clients and partners
  • Ability to uphold high confidentiality standards
