Vice President of Manufacturing

Our client, a leader in direct mail marketing, operates four 24/7 printing facilities nationwide, producing 30 million touchpoints each month. We are seeking a Vice President of Manufacturing to join this successful and growing company. This role is responsible for overseeing our entire print production process and workflow, ensuring we maintain the level of quality the company is known for. The VP will collaborate with an internal network of highly trained managers and staff as well as an external network of vendors and partners to meet customer expectations and keep at the forefront of our industry.

What you will do:

  • Execute and innovate upon their renowned print production process, ensuring alignment with the company’s business objectives and market-leading reputation across all our facilities
  • Inspire and guide high-performing teams across multiple facilities, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence
  • Oversee the entire print production workflow—from prepress to bindery, digital printing, and direct mail operations—ensuring consistent quality, rapid turnaround times, and continuous improvement
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize costs, secure the highest quality materials, and streamline operations
  • Spearhead budgeting and financial planning for print production, driving cost-efficiency and profitability through resource optimization and waste reduction strategies
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Client Services to ensure production processes meet customer expectations, business goals, and uphold high standards
  • Collaborate with HR to recruit, develop, and retain top-tier talent, building a skilled and motivated workforce that contributes to long-term success

What you will need to be successful:

  • Minimum of 10 years in print production leadership, with 5+ years in senior roles overseeing multi-site operations
  • Deep knowledge of print technologies (bindery, offset, digital presses), workflow automation, and industry best practices
  • Proven success in managing teams, optimizing processes, and implementing change in complex, multi-location operations
  • Strong background in budget management, cost control, and financial planning for large-scale production environments
  • Exceptional ability to engage and inspire teams, vendors, and stakeholders with clear, strategic communication
  • Green Belt Certification or military experience preferred
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Ability to make high-level decisions in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Occasional physical demands include lifting and standing for extended periods
