What you will do:
- Provide financial insights by analyzing key metrics and financial data to enhance business economics
- Foster strong relationships across various geographies and functional teams, including sales, operations, innovation, and shared services
- Enhance financial performance through the preparation, development, and continuous improvement of meaningful business analyses on an ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, offering recommendations to management
- Develop and prepare monthly financial management reports and supporting details by product and industry, including trend, variance, and roll-forward analysis to aid management in understanding business results
- Analyze financial statistics and operating benchmarks to support strategic decision-making by management
- Create profit and loss models, balance sheets, and other management reports to forecast financial outcomes
- Collaborate with department leaders to identify key performance drivers and understand business results
- Work closely with MIS to design and develop tools for efficient data gathering and information delivery to management teams (e.g., Power BI, MDS, Cubes, Pivots, SharePoint)
- Partner with the management team to forecast financial outcomes by developing reporting tools that integrate sales, supply/demand, and operational/raw material forecasts
- Lead detailed financial analysis discussions with management on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Assist in preparing comprehensive annual plans and presentations for stakeholders
- Streamline systems, processes, and reporting to improve efficiency
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or MIS required
- Minimum of 2 years of financial analysis experience required
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of cubes preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
