This growing organization is seeking a Tax & Equity Analyst to support tax compliance, equity administration, and general accounting activities across the business. What you will do:
- Assist with the month-end close by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and fixed asset schedules
- Support compliance for income, sales, excise, and use taxes through data preparation, filings, and coordination with external tax partners
- Help administer cooperative equity processes, including reconciliations, allocations, and recordkeeping
- Gather and review data to support tax research, credits, and reporting requirements
- Maintain tax calendars, track escheatment processes, and help respond to federal, state, and local tax notices
- Prepare tax and equity-related entries and assist with audit documentation
- Support capital asset and depreciation processes with guidance from senior staff
- Contribute to process improvements and assist on special projects as assigned
What you will need to be successful:
- 3-5+ years of accounting experience
- Exposure to tax or compliance is strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with ERP systems
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
