  • Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)

    Palmer Group is collaborating with a long-established and growing engineering firm to find a Mechanical Engineer with experience in HVAC, piping, and plumbing design. This role provides the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful work, mentor junior team members, and interface directly with clients and contractors.     What you will do:

    • Design mechanical systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, fire protection, and automation
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on a variety of building and infrastructure projects
    • Prepare technical drawings and documentation
    • Conduct site visits for data collection, measurements, and observation of construction activities

    What you will need to be successful:

    • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering with a focus on mechanical systems
    • Licensed PE or EIT is highly preferred, but not required
    • 4+ years of experience in MEP design preferred
    • Familiarity with 3D modeling (Revit) and general office software
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
    • Effective time management and organizational skills
