What you will need to be successful:
- Three to five years of compliance/risk experience within a financial institution
- Strong analytical and research skills to interpret laws and trends
- Confidence and strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Collaborative and approachable demeanor
What you will do:
- Lead compliance efforts on multiple projects by ensuring regulatory requirements are met
- Research and interpret state and federal regulations, assessing their impact
- Engage with vendors, asking the right compliance-focused questions
- Monitor industry trends, proposed regulations, and legal updates to ensure leadership stays informed about potential risks and opportunities.
- Review and maintain compliance documentation
- Collaborate across departments, providing compliance guidance on marketing, risk management, fraud, and other initiatives
