What you will do:
- Develop and detail 2D and 3D designs for fabrication and assembly
- Apply engineering principles to solve design challenges and ensure functionality
- Lead design reviews and collaborate with production and sales teams
- Finalize working drawings and specifications for manufacturing
- Manage documentation and change orders across multiple projects
- Support process improvements and contribute to analytical tools and methods
- Coordinate with purchasing and vendors to source specialized components
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide engineering support as needed
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in product design and CAD modeling
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Effective communicator with cross-functional collaboration experience
- Familiarity with multiple technical disciplines and design tools
