What you will do:
- Investigate customer problems, determine underlying causes, and effectively address complaints in a timely manner
- Provide thorough and precise resolution of issues by attentively listening to customer needs and conveying solutions clearly
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of company services, products, and software to respond to customer inquiries and handle customer interactions effectively
- Provide real-time training to financial professionals on systems, processes, and procedures supported by the department
- Support customers by resolving technology-related questions, and provide information to management, colleagues, and financial professionals as needed
- Explain both internal and external policies and procedures to colleagues and financial professionals, reporting potential violations to management when needed
- Partner with internal teams and clearing firms to create and execute enhanced procedures to optimize service processes
- Act as the primary contact for the team in terms of resolving complex issues, while also building trust and nurturing loyalty with financial professionals as a service experience expert
What you will need to be successful:
- 2+ years of related education, experience, and/or training
- Skill with reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, regulations, and business documents
- Proficiency with drafting procedure manuals, reports, and business correspondence
- Proven ability to present information effectively, as well as address questions from customers, managers, and associates
- Proficiency with calculating proportions, interest, discounts, commissions, percentages, probability, circumference, area, and volume, as well as application of basic algebra and geometry concepts
- Skilled with identifying problems, gathering data, verifying facts, and forming valid conclusions to solve problems with a variety of variables; skilled with comprehending instructions in various formats
- Typing skills of at least 30-40 wpm
- Proficiency with email, word processing, spreadsheets and their macros, internet applications, database software, and company software
- Excellent written and verbal communication, both in one-on-one and small group settings
- Demonstrated professional and polite communication with co-workers and the public
- Strong organization, self-motivation, and time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently
