This individual will oversee daily production for approximately 5 hourly production employees and train new employees on work instruction and quality procedures. Work model:

• 2:00pm – 12:00am

What you will do:

• Under direct supervision of the Plant Manager overseeing daily production for approximately 5 hourly production employees
• Help direct and lead the production activities for the assigned shift
• Train new employees on work instruction and quality procedures
• Ensure products are produced to customer specifications

What you will need to be successful:

• High School Diploma
• 3+ years of supervisor experience in a manufacturing setting

What you will do:

• Advise on enhancing manufacturing through automation
• Program core manufacturing processes for full autonomy
• Partner with technicians to resolve automation issues
• Liaise with vendors and integrators on line enhancements and new product opportunities
• Incorporate new equipment into existing processes
• Coordinate with vendors to commission new equipment
• Collaborate with other locations on automation initiatives
• Foster a culture of teamwork and solution-focused positivity

What you will need to be successful:

• Prior experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming
• Strong background in driving innovation with automation
• Passion for new technology
• Experience in batch manufacturing is preferred
• Strong communication skills
