What you will do:
- Oversee fabrication and manufacturing of steel products
- Promote a safe and accident-free workplace through communication and improvement initiatives
- Plan and prioritize production activities for efficient operations and cost management
- Coordinate best manufacturing practices with procurement, maintenance, and quality control
- Review and analyze production and quality reports to ensure production goals are being met and products meet specifications
- Consult engineering and maintenance to enhance production efficiency and product quality
- Revise production schedules and priorities as needed to meet delivery goals
- Collaborate and communicate with offsite leadership and support staff regarding business operations and personnel
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with experience in steel fabrication and welding
- 5+ years of leadership in manufacturing operations, including budget management and executing business strategies
- Proven ability to manage employee relationships and work with executive leadership
- Experienced in leading continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong attention to detail, focused on improving quality and performance
- Excellent understanding of cost management, labor management, production scheduling, and sales
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience with Enterprise Operating Systems (EOS) and Materials Resource Planning (MRP) is preferred
