Palmer Group has teamed up with a local client in search of a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to be a key contributor to their warehouse operations. This position will be responsible for managing pick-ticket orders and for physically pulling inventory from the shelves to ensure accurate delivery of warehouse products. Work model:
- On-Site
- Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM – 4:45 PM; Friday 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Climate Controlled Environment
- Starting pay at $16/hr with a potential raise at 90 days and annually
What you will do:
- Manage pick-ticket orders
- Pull warehouse items from the shelves based on the number, quantity, and quality requirements
- Ensure that orders are accurate
- Operate handling equipment
- Plan and monitor product storage and dispatch
- Meet warehouse goals
- Maintain a high level of health and safety standards
What you will need to be successful:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Experience with shipping services desired (UPS, DHL, FEDEX, and LTL)
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
