What you will do:
- Align the Design Engineering team with organizational goals and manage daily operations
- Use analytical and critical thinking skills to solve problems and drive cost-effective solutions
- Complete project assignments within scope, budget, and schedule
- Generate manufacturing tooling and fixture models and provide technical reviews and recommendations
- Develop and test prototypes, coordinate fabrication efforts, and lead design collaborations
What you will need to be successful:
- Engineering degree (Mechanical preferred) from an accredited university.
- 8+ years of hands-on design experience, including concept-to-completion and tool/fixture design
- Leadership experience in managing technical design engineers
- 1000+ hours using 3D CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor) and familiarity with Machinery’s Handbook
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to interpret 2D drawings and solve design challenges
