What you will do:
- Optimize manufacturing processes and lead on-the-floor troubleshooting initiatives
- Design, develop, and maintain jigs, fixtures, and mold tooling
- Support automation and robotics projects (experience is a plus, but not required)
- Collaborate closely with production, materials, and quality teams to drive improvements
- Split time between hands-on shop support and office-based engineering tasks
What you will need to be successful:
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing engineering experience, or a mix of strong internship/co-op experience
- Experience in tooling and fixture design, with a focus on continuous improvement, is preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar 3D modeling software
- Strong communicator comfortable working directly with operators and frontline teams
- Experience with robotics or automation is a plus
- Mold tooling expertise is a strong advantage
