    What you will do:

    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including lean events, training programs, and process‑stability efforts
    • Direct and implement the organization’s industrial safety programs, including policies, training, risk assessments, ergonomic reviews, and equipment inspections
    • Lead safety committees and support broader corporate safety strategies
    • Analyze safety and operational data to identify trends and drive corrective actions
    • Conduct assessments such as audits, inspections, and incident investigations, and guide follow‑through on action plans
    • Set performance metrics, evaluate productivity, and support leadership development through structured training
    • Manage and develop team members, including hiring, training, scheduling, providing direction, and performance management

    What you will need to be successful: 

    • Strong continuous improvement background with demonstrated ability to lead structured lean or CI efforts
    • Ability to manage both safety and CI functions with initiative, collaboration, and effective decision‑making
    • Skilled in communication, training, and working closely with technical and non‑technical teams
    • Understanding of regulatory safety standards, including OSHA and related authorities
    • Ability to quantify, interpret, and act on data
    • Familiarity with process‑planning tools such as flow diagrams and relationship diagrams
    • Strong interpersonal, listening, and problem‑solving abilities with a style that builds credibility and engagement
    • Lean certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) (preferred)
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
    • 8+ years of relevant experience (preferred)

  • Manufacturing Engineer

    Are you looking for a role within a stable, long-standing manufacturing environment with strong leadership and steady customer demand? Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to engage in a mix of office and hands-on shop work, making a direct impact on both production and quality. This role focuses on developing, improving, and supporting fabrication processes for composite parts in a regulated aerospace environment. The Manufacturing Engineer will work in a roughly 50/50 split between the shop floor and office, supporting production, leading continuous improvement efforts, designing or defining tooling requirements, managing documentation, and assisting with customer communication on build‑to‑print programs. The position requires an experienced engineer who can step in with strong composites or aerospace knowledge and provide hands‑on, day‑to‑day support to the engineering team. Apply now!

    • Develop and refine composite fabrication processes and tooling designs
    • Support daily shop‑floor troubleshooting and production needs
    • Review drawings and specifications to define manufacturing methods
    • Create and maintain work instructions, BOMs, and ERP routings

    • Participate in customer calls to resolve build‑to‑print questions

    What you will need to be successful:

    • 5+ years in composites or aerospace manufacturing engineering
    • Strong understanding of composite processes, tooling, and production support
    • Proficiency with GD&T and technical documentation creation
    • Experience with CAD systems such as CATIA, Inventor, or SolidWorks
    • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar improvement tools
    • Strong communication skills for internal and customer interactions
