    Palmer Group has partnered with a local client in their search for a Part Time Bookkeeper. This individual will utilize QuickBooks and provide bookkeeping services. If you are interested in this position and meet the following requirements, apply today!  20-30 hours per week

    Work model: 

    • On-Site

    What you will do:

    • Review and prepare sales tax and use tax forms for monthly reporting.
    • Perform payroll for employees.
    • Assist with employee insurance renewals
    • Manage the company credit card balance and activity
    • Responsible for accounts payable and receivable
    • Assist with new employee onboarding 
    • Prepare information for annual workers’ compensation audit (UKG), OSHA audit (UKG), and general liability insurance equipment listing.
    • Manage company vehicle fleet
    • Receive office mail – opens, reviews, and processes/delivers mail.

    What you need to be successful:

    • Associate degree or equivalent
    • 2+ years of related accounting experience with exposure to AP/AR/Payroll
    • QuickBooks experience preferred
    • Construction industry preferred
    • Strong communication skills
    • Strong computer skills

    What you will do:

    • Greet customers and provide exceptional service in person, by phone, and through digital channels

    • Educate customers on bank products, services, and digital banking tools
    • Identify opportunities to refer customers to specialists (lending, business banking, etc.)
    • Resolve customer questions and concerns with professionalism and accuracy
    • Maintain compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
    • Support daily branch operations and work collaboratively with team members

    What you will need to be successful:

    • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
    • Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities
    • Comfort working with computers and learning new systems
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
    • Previous customer service, retail, or cash‑handling experience is a plus but not required
    • High school diploma or equivalent
