In this role, you will be responsible for safely performing maintenance duties on foundry equipment, including repairs, preventative and predictive maintenance, and troubleshooting. What you will do:
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, including lockout and tag out
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment
- Repair and troubleshoot all equipment and production machinery, including electrically driven operating systems
- Handle installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems
- Program industrial mechanical equipment and PLCs
- Ensure parts and machinery are clean, lubricated, and adjusted properly
- Communicate effectively with supervisor about equipment repair
- Utilize the computerized maintenance system to document tasks and follow-ups
- Adhere to the maintenance schedule
What you will need to be successful:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proven education or experience in industrial maintenance
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
