In this role, you will be responsible for defining, documenting, and enforcing accounting policies and procedures within the company. You will oversee the overall accounting functions and work closely with the CFO to ensure smooth financial operations. Work model:
- Hybrid – 4 days in the office
What you will do:
- Lead and manage the accounting operations of the company
- Implement and oversee internal controls and accounting policies
- Manage and process company-wide commissions
- Prepare timely and accurate internal and external financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop financial performance metrics
- Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance with state and federal tax laws
- Support the CFO in the preparation and ongoing management of the annual budget
- Prepare periodic variance reports and investigate discrepancies
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5-7 years of accounting experience
- CPA certification and SaaS experience preferred
- Significant experience in preparing consolidated financial statements and budgets, as well as managing the general ledger
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile data, assess information, and provide sound recommendations
- Skilled in identifying complex problems and formulating effective solutions
- Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks, spreadsheets, and online financial tools
- General knowledge of Salesforce is beneficial
