What you will do:
- Review manufacturing processes for improvement to drive predictable output and overall quality.
- Update manufacturing processes to ensure products are within internal and external customer specifications.
- Design and determine development samples and trials, process and review through all manufacturing, inspection, and inspection departments
- Review inspection results, investigate non-conforming materials, institute corrective action, sample and confirm corrective measures, and document and amend process procedures.
- Investigate and resolve production process problems on low-volume products.
- Create, document, and maintain process work instructions for all production areas.
- Recommend, trial, and implement new materials, processes, and equipment to improve efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate closely with Product Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to identify root causes and develop corrective action.
- Learn and be familiar with strict customer and regulatory specifications
What you will need to be successful:
- Degree in engineering required or a 2-year degree in a technical discipline with foundry experience will be considered
