Highly qualified candidates for this role will have experience programming both Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interfaces, ideally in Allen-Bradley and Wonderware. Work Model:

  • Remote
  • Travel required with 25% – 30% overnights (Company vehicle provided)

What You Will Do:

  • Design, program, and commission control systems and automation solutions
  • Develop and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications
  • Lead projects from concept through startup, validation, and ongoing support
  • Create and maintain control narratives, functional specifications, and system documentation
  • Integrate control systems with plant equipment and industrial networks
  • Support operations through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and industry standards
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent experience and/or an Associate degree in an automation-related field.   
  • 10+ years of relevant experience will be considered.
  • Programming experience in the following: 
    • PLC programming such as Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500 and 5000, Modicon, Siemens S7, GE PAC systems, or similar
    • HMI programming such as Wonderware, FactoryTalk View, VT Scada, Cimplicity, Intellution, Ignition, or similar
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols including Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and OPC UA. 
  • Excellent problem-solving, project leadership, and communication skills.
