What You Will Do:

  • Develop and modify PLC and HMI programs for custom automation applications
  • Support projects from initial handoff through installation, startup, and completion
  • Troubleshoot automation and controls issues remotely and at customer sites
  • Provide technical support to customers, including scheduled after-hours coverage
  • Collaborate with engineering and development teams on new automation solutions
  • Assist with system testing, commissioning, and performance validation
  • Prepare and maintain project-related technical documentation
  • Travel to customer locations for installation, startup, and service activities

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with industrial automation and PLC programming
  • Degree in electrical engineering, electrical technology, mechatronics, industrial automation, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency developing and troubleshooting PLC and HMI applications
  • Experience commissioning, integrating, and supporting industrial control systems
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, control drawings, and technical documentation
  • Strong customer-facing communication and technical problem-solving skills
