Construction Estimator

Our client is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join their industry-leading team, which has strong local roots and is expanding ties across the Midwest. What You Will Do:

• Maintain a deep understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and industry standards to ensure accurate estimating
• Set up, update, and maintain estimating software, ensuring all databases, system components, and pricing information are current and functional
• Analyze drawings and specifications, incorporate requirements into estimating software, generate reports, and distribute findings to Project Managers
• Work closely with Project Managers to review take-off data, job specifications, and project requirements, ensuring seamless execution
• Prepare and submit project bids within deadlines, adhering to industry guidelines and company standards

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• Possess a thorough understanding of the estimating manual
• 3+ years of experience with estimating, preferrably in sheet metal
• Understanding of changes in material, equipment, and labor costs
• Bluebeam and Quote Express knowledge preferred
