Our growing Des Moines client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and delivering actionable insights to leadership. What you will do:

  • Analyze current and historical financial performance to identify trends and variances
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve financial outcomes
  • Prepare and present financial insights to the Director of Accounting, Controller, and CFO
  • Maintain accurate divisional financial reporting and accounting records
  • Assess and enhance internal accounting processes and controls
  • Support intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve financial systems
  • Assist in testing and strengthening internal controls over financial processes

What you will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred
  • 2-5+ years of related experience or training
  • 1-2 years of public accounting experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills, high degree of accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Ability to define problems and collect data
  • Willingness to travel
