The Credit Analyst II supports informed commercial lending decisions by analyzing financial and credit information for new and existing customers at a well‑established, reputable bank. This role prepares financial spreads, ratios, and credit memos; assists with loan structuring, renewals, and documentation; and monitors industry and economic trends. What You Will Do:

  • Prepare and distribute financial spreads, ratio analysis, and credit memorandums using CASH and other analytical tools
  • Evaluate financial statements, credit information, and industry data to determine creditworthiness and loan performance
  • Collaborate with customers, accountants, and legal counsel to gather, confirm, and clarify financial documentation
  • Assist with the preparation, tracking, and maintenance of loan documentation, collateral perfection, and reporting requirements
  • Contribute to loan structure recommendations and support ongoing portfolio management through annual reviews, renewals, and amendments
  • Track economic, market, and industry conditions to identify potential impacts on credit risk
  • Conduct site visits, address customer concerns, and recognize opportunities for additional relationship growth
  • Provide research, comparative data, and analytical support to loan officers and lending teams

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of relevant credit or financial analysis experience
