Personal Banker

Work Model:

• On-Site
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Monday – Friday
• Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

What You Will Do:

• Establish and terminate customer accounts in compliance with internal controls to protect customer funds and assets
• Guide customers through loan inquiries and application processes
• Apply working knowledge of the new accounts platform to update and safeguard customer records
• Manage safe deposit box access procedures, including customer entry and exit activities
• Address customer needs by handling inbound phone inquiries and identifying appropriate solutions
• Support customers with standard account maintenance and service requests
• Investigate account-related questions and implement appropriate resolutions
• Deliver timely, courteous, and effective responses to client inquiries
• Carry out teller transactions and daily cash-handling functions
• Strengthen customer relationships by recommending relevant products and services based on customer needs
• Participate in initiatives designed to enhance the overall customer experience
• Promote collaboration and cooperation within the department
• Participate in compliance-related activities, including Bank Secrecy Act and audit support

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing support role
• Prior teller or banking experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Math aptitude
• Strong written and verbal presentation skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and attention to detail
